CALOOCAN CITY, (PIA) -- The Caloocan City Government, through a City Council resolution, is urging all local business establishments to give discounts to customers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Councilors Orvince Howard Hernandez, Ryan Malapitan and Majority Leader Edgardo Aruelo proposed Resolution No. 11-570 series of 2021.
Under the resolution, all local businesses are encouraged to give discounts on their products and services to individuals who are already fully vaccinated.
Hernandez said this would be an opportunity for business owners to oblige their workers to get vaccinated, especially those considered essential workers.
The councilor, however, clarified that the local government will not, in any way, oblige business establishments to give a fixed discount, but will encourage them to do their own promotional activities. (PIA-NCR)
