by: JIMMYLEY E. GUZMAN

PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- The Nayong Pilipino Foundation (NPF) is inviting the public to take part in a survey to explore the importance of parks and urban green spaces in Metro Manila.

The survey on “Wellbeing and Greenspace Aesthetics in Urban Parks / Ginhawa at mga Estetikong Pang-Parke,” aims to produce a localized study that looks into the value of urban green spaces on self-assessed, perceived individual well-being for residents of Metro Manila.

According to the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC), the survey is part of the Nayong Pilipino Foundation – Research Institute’s (NPF-RI’s) ongoing study that utilizes the framework of the eight (8) Perceived Sensory Dimensions of Greenspace Aesthetics, which are the most preferred qualities people want to see in parks and urban green spaces.

The survey will run until September 12, 2021. The results of this study aim to be applicable in the design of the NPF Park and its interpretation programs.
