QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- The Office of Civil Defense National Capital Region (OCD-NCR)completed its first run of Exercise Design Course (EDC) training through blended learning from 25 to 29 April 2022.
More than 40 participants attended the video teleconferencing sessions, accomplished the self-paced modules, online evaluations, and submitted the group assignments. The participants are yet to pass the post-exam and training evaluation via Training IMS.
Resource speakers from Bureau of Fire Prevention, Department of Science and Technology-Central Office, OCD-NCR, Valenzuela City DRRMO, and Las Piñas City DRRMO shared their knowledge, expertise, and experiences during the training course.
The said training aims to impart knowledge, skills, and attitude required for designing exercises to contribute to the capacity building goals under the thematic area of Disaster Preparedness.
Those who will pass the exam and complete the requirements of the training course will compose the first batch of EDC graduates in NCR. (OCD-NCR / AVS - PIA-NCR)
