QUEZON CITY, September 5 (PIA)--The management of the Light Rail Transit Administration (LRTA) has issued guidelines on how to claim lost or left items inside the train.
The LRTA management, in its guideline, advised the claimant to proceed to any Public Relations Office located at baclaran, Central, and Monumento Stations. These offices are open daily from Monday through Sunday between 6 am to 9 pm.
Claimant may also contact LRTA PR Office at the Line 1 Depot at telephone numbers 854-0454 or 854-0984 for inquiries on any lost item while inside the LRT premises.
The claimant should accomplish the Lost and Found Claim form and present at least ome (1) valid ID to any personnel at the PR Offices/stations upon claiming lost item for proper identification and verification purposes.
In case of lost cash, the LRTA management said that the apparent owner must satisfactorily establish his or her ownership by describing the amount or denomination of the currency and the manner it is contained inside the wallet, in an envelope or bundled with a rubber band.
The LRTA management also stressed that they reserve the right to dispose of any item subject to existing government rules and regulations. (LRTA/RJB/SDL/PIA-NCR)
