US Embassy closed on July 17 for Eid’l Fitr

MANILA, July 16 (PIA) - The Embassy of the United States in Manila and its affiliated offices will be closed Friday, July 17 in observance of the Eid’l Fitr.

The embassy and affiliated offices will resume regular services on Monday, July 20, 2015.

Also called as the Feast of Breaking, Eid’l Fitr is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan-the Islamic holy month of fasting. (US EMBASSY MANILA/RJB/JEG/PIA-NCR)
