U.S. Ambassador Goldberg congratulates President Duterte

MANILA, July 1 (PIA) – United States Ambassador to the Philippines Philip S. Goldberg congratulated President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on his inauguration Thursday, June 30 in Malacañang.

Ambassador Goldberg, through his twitter account, expressed his congratulatory message to the 16th President of the Republic.

“Congratulations to President Duterte on his inauguration, and to the Philippines for a successful transition to a new administration.”

President Duterte succeeded former President Benigno S. Aquino III as the new leader of the country. (RJB/JEG/PIA-NCR)
