“Mga Awit ng Pagsinta” in Concert at the Park

MANILA, 1Oct. 1(PIA) - Concert at the Park opens the month of October with the De La Salle Inner Soul and Soulstice, this Sunday, October 2, 2016.   


The program dubbed “Mga Awit ng Pagsinta” will start at 6:00 PM at the Rizal Park Open-Air Auditorium. Admission is free.   

The De La Salle Innersoul started from the college reunion of four KUNDIRANA members whose passion for singing led them to establishing the musical group. It was formed by Mr. Rene Jose Molano, then Director of the Culture and Arts Office with its present-day artistic and musical director Mr. John Bradley B. Fenomeno and was launched on October 3, 1997.   

The group has participated internationally in the ASEAN Jazz Festival at the University of Malaysia in November 2013, and ASEAN Arts Festival in November 2014, and in the annual ASEAN Universities Network Youth Cultural Forum held in various ASEAN countries since 2004.   

Concert at the Park, is the longest running weekly public service project of the National Parks Development Committee and the Department of Tourism with the aim of bringing music even closer to the people.
