QUEZON CITY, Dec. 19 (PIA) – This Holiday season, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reminds the public to keep safe especially when using their ATM card/cards.
Always guard your PIN or personal identification number. Handle transactions personally and protect your ATM card as if it is cash.
When using the machine, be alert and think of your safety as well. It’s also important to check the ATM for any fraudulent devices attached to avoid “skimming” – a method used by criminals to capture data from magnetic stripe on the back of an ATM card.
