QC allows Smart to put up Ugong Norte Cellsite

QUEZON CITY, May 16 (PIA)--The Quezon City Council has issued a special use permit allowing telecommunications giant Smart to install a cellsite tower in a subdivision within the posh barangay of Ugong Norte.
“The petitioner has complied with the requirements for its application for the issuance of a Special Use Permit and that the Sangguniang Barangay Ugong Norte and residents of Arcadia Subdivision interposed no objection,” city resolution 7068-2017 read.
The issuance of the Special use Permit is in compliance with the provisions of Article VII, Section 50 of the City Ordinance 2200-2013 otherwise known as the Quezon City Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and its Implementing Rules and Regulations that is required for the construction and installation of the cellsite tower project.
