Metro Manila police launches complaints, emergency hotlines

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) of the Philippine National Police on Friday launched its hotlines for receiving emergency calls and public complaints on abusive cops in Metro Manila.
In a ceremony held at Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City, NCRPO Director Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar said the 24/7 "Team NCRPO" hotlines are now ready to receive reports on crime incidents, drugs, and peace and order-related concerns by residents.
“We hope to encourage citizens to report crimes and errant police officers to our new dedicated hotline numbers,” Eleazar said.
He said sending reports or complaints will not be limited via texting or short messaging service (SMS) only, as users may also use online apps such as Viber, WeChat, Line, Telegram, and WhatsApp in informing the NCRPO. (JCP/PIA-NCR)
