PASIG CITY, June 18 (PIA) -- The Makati City Government launched its Safety Seal Certification on Thursday held at the Palm Drive Activity Center, Glorietta, Ayala Center.
Makati City Mayor Abby Binay led the launching of the Safety Seal Certification, together with Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo, Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya, Ayala Land Inc. President Bobby Dy, and other officials.
Ayala Malls (Glorietta, Greenbelt and Circuit) received the first Safety Seal Certification from the city government.
The Safety Seal Certification indicates the compliance of an establishment with minimum public health standards set by the national and local government.
Recently, Mayor Binay signed Executive Order No. 12 or the Makati City Guidelines for the implementation of the Safety Seal Certification Program.
The executive order contains guidelines on the procedures for the issuance of Safety Seal to business establishments, and provisions on the validity, renewal, revocation, and reinstatement of the certification.
