PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through personnel of Media and Civil Affairs Group and 7th Civil Relations Group, Civil Relations Service conducted a feeding program to benefit the residents of Barangay Gulod, Novaliches Quezon City on Wednesday, June 23.
This endeavor is in partnership with the Hope of Life Ministry that benefited almost 3,000 residents.
“Lubos ang aking pasasalamat sa mga kasundaluhan dahil sa mga ganitong aktibidad. Sobra rin silang na-appreciate ng mga residente,” Barangay Kagawad Hon. Lovely Alphine S. Biglang-awa said. (We are entirely grateful to our soldiers for this kind of activity. Our residents fully appreciated their efforts.)
The CRSAFP shared that the said activity is "one of our soldiers’ humanitarian actions to help and provide assistance to our less fortunate kababayans as our nation continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic."
