Run for the Navy 2016 set on May 21

MANILA, May18 (PIA) – In celebration of the 118th anniversary of the Philippine Navy, a five-kilometer run is set on May 21, Saturday along the scenic Roxas Boulevard in Manila. Assembly for stretching is at 4:30 AM while the gun start will kick-off at 5:30 AM.

The run for a cause will benefit our hero soldiers and their families through the Support Your Navy Foundation, Inc. (SYNFI).

The registration fee of P500 will include a singlet, finisher’s shirt (for the first 300 finishers), baller, foldable fan and car sticker.

Email the copy of the deposit slip and registration form to any of the email addresses above and call the designated contact person/s for further details. Deposit slip/s can also be brought to registration sites to claim the singlet and running bib.

Interested participant may also register at Toby's Sports Robinsons Ermita and Toby's Estate SM Aura from May 7-15, 2016.

Meanwhile, an onsite recruitment will also be put up during the race day. Aspiring sailors and marines may apply at the race venue.

Participants will also have an exclusive access inside the Navy Headquarters and have a chance to take selfies with Navy warships, helicopters, and other military equipment.
