QUEZON CITY, Nov. 21 (PIA) – The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) is now gearing up for the 65th Miss Universe pageant to be held in the country in January 2017. The prestigious beauty pageant, which will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on January 20, 2017 is expected to draw more visitors to the country.
NCRPO chief Oscar Albayalde said that security measures are now underway to ensure safety during the event. Meanwhile, the Department of Tourism also announced the plans to bring the beautiful candidates to top tourist destinations in the country like Cebu, Iloilo, Legazpi, Davao and Palawan.
