PASIG CITY (PIA)  With Christmas around the corner, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) is all set to provide public safety and ensure security for everyone this holiday season.

“Your police force is committed to keeping every family safe as they travel, shop, and attend holiday activities. We are ready to provide protection and immediate response wherever needed,” said NCRPO chief PMGEN Anthony A. Aberin.

With a combined force of more than 14,600 personnel, NCRPO demonstrates full readiness to prevent crime, respond to emergencies, and extend assistance wherever needed throughout the holiday period.

Police personnel and force multipliers will be strategically deployed throughout places of worship, major roads, transportation hubs, commercial complexes, and other high-density areas to guarantee uninterrupted police visibility and quick response. This focused deployment reinforces security where foot traffic is expected to surge, providing residents and visitors with a safe environment throughout the holidays.

The NCRPO is also maximizing its regular security operations by deploying police personnel dedicated to routine law enforcement duties. These teams conduct area patrols, checkpoint operations, border control, field inspections, and rapid police response across all districts, ensuring consistent safety coverage beyond holiday-specific sites.

Aberin also stressed that community vigilance, paired with NCRPO’s swift and responsive police service, remains essential for a peaceful celebration.

The public is also encouraged to call 911 for any emergency and be assured of immediate police response. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
