Total truck ban in some parts of Taguig to start September 17

TAGUIG CITY, Sept. 8 (PIA) -- The city government of Taguig will soon implement total truck ban in some roads in the city.
In an advisory, the total truck ban will be implemented in the entire stretch of General Santos Avenue and Manuel L. Quezon Street starting September 17, 2018 (Monday).
All trucks and vans with a gross weight of 4,500 kilograms or more are prohibited from driving and passing through the said areas.
The city government advises affected vehicles to take the C-5 route instead. Violators will be apprehended and fined.
Meanwhile, fire trucks, ambulances and other emergency trip vehicles are exempted from the total truck ban. (TaguigPIO/PIA-NCR)
