QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority National Capital Region (TESDA NCR) warns the public to be wary of fake TESDA National Certificate (NC) scam online.
This after the agency noted recent incidents of scam in obtaining a certificate using the social media. The post showed a fake National Driving Certificate (NC) and receipt.
The TESDA NCR – Pasay Makati District Office reminds the public to avoid getting TESDA NC online.
TESDA certificates can only be obtained by undergoing the TESDA National Assessment, which costs 700 pesos up to 2,000 pesos, depending on the qualification that will be taken.
The public can verify the accreditation of the Assessment Center through the TESDA website: https://www.tesda.gov.ph/AssessmentCenters
Moreover, TESDA NCR reminds the public that fake documents will not be recognized by other government agencies such as the Department of Migrant Workers, Department of Foreign Affairs among others. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
