Its Facebook post reminded the public that the election period will run from January 12 to June 11, 2025, and during this 150-day period, a nationwide gun ban will be enforced.
The campaign period for national candidates, which includes those vying for Senate and party-list positions, will span 90 days, beginning on February 11 and ending on May 10, 2025.
Local candidates will have a campaign window of 45 days, from March 28 to May 10, 2025.
For overseas voters, the voting period will run from April 13 to May 12, 2025, while local absentee voting will take place from April 28 to April 30, 2025.
A liquor ban will also be enforced on May 11, the eve of Election Day.
Finally, on June 11, 2025, will be the last day for candidates to file their statements of contributions and expenditures.
As the election date approaches, voters are encouraged to remain informed about the process and deadlines to ensure their participation in this pivotal democratic exercise.
