MANILA, (PIA) — In anticipation of millions of devotees joining the Traslacion of the image of the Nazareno, the Department of Health (DOH) raised the alert status to ‘Code White.’
Aside from the National Capital Region (NCR) the White Alert status is raised over Central Luzon (Region 3) and CALABARZON (Region 4A).
According to DOH, 201 responders are in position with 189 members of the Health Emergency Response Teams (HERTs) and 12 personnel located at the Multi-Agency Coordinating Center (MACC).
At least 20 medical stations have also been activated in strategic locations to respond to medical emergencies.
The health department added that over 20 DOH hospitals in NCR and LGU-run hospitals in Manila are on standby to ensure a smooth referral of patients. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
