Gov’t steps up relief efforts for 45,000 NCR families affected by ‘Enteng’

UEZON CITY, (PIA) — In response to the impact of Tropical Storm Enteng, which has affected 45,739 families and approximately 185,102 individuals across 85 barangays in Metro Manila, the government is mobilizing relief efforts to assist those in need.

Currently, 4,933 families, or about 23,029 persons, are temporarily sheltered in 66 evacuation centers throughout the region.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office NCR is actively coordinating with local government units (LGUs) to provide essential support.



The DSWD is focused on delivering technical assistance and resource augmentation to the affected families, ensuring that they receive necessary aid. Efforts are ongoing to assess the needs of displaced individuals and facilitate recovery operations.

Authorities are committed to monitoring the situation closely and providing continued support to restore normalcy for those impacted by the storm. (GLG/PIA-NCR)
